| Bio: | Name: Myrenateli (Myre) What world they came from: The Halfblood Chronicles book series Birthday (if known): The Year of the Delphin, harvest season. Age: Myre is about eighteen, but females of her species are a bit advanced, so she's a full adult rather than a teenager. Species: Dragon Occupation: Being an epic troublemaker sums it up pretty well, though she's technically a Shaman. Just not a terribly good one. Appearance: Dragons in this canon have the ability to shape shift into anything, though they're limited individually by size. They shift their mass into something called the 'Out'. In her natural, draconic form, Myre is about fifteen feet in length and a stocky, muscular orange and yellow colored dragon. In this canon, dragons have elongated necks, triangular crests interspersed with spiky ridges starting from her head and extending down her tail. In her human form, Myre appears to be a muscular twenty year old human woman with brown hair, brown eyes and dusky skin. Those are the two forms she takes the most, though technically she can shift into anything, as long as it's not smaller than a grown human. She's too big to go any smaller! Special abilities/talents: Myre has magical abilities, as do all dragons in her canon. In dragon form, she can call thunder storms, create lightning by 'sparking' her wing tips together, melt and shape rock, and turn herself into a conductor for lightning. These abilities are not present when she's shapeshifted into a human. What magic she does have in both forms is: ability to read the thoughts of sentient creatures, shape flesh as she would rock, and control the minds of animals. As for non-magical special talents, Myre is extremely physically fit. She can climb great distances using her forelegs and hind legs, can fly for a great distance, and is a skilled digger. She's not terribly bright, and her main talents rely on her magic and brute strength. And she is not very good at mind magics. Quirks: In her draconic form, Myre is a chronic tail lasher. Like a cat, when irritated or annoyed, she snaps her tail back and forth repeatedly to show her displeasure or anger. She also gnashes her teeth. In human form this habit manifests itself in foot tapping, huffing, and rolling her eyes. Personality: In a nutshell, Myre is spoiled, egocentric, lazy and manipulative. She has little patience, is greedy, stubborn, and will do whatever she can to ensure she gets her own way. She's also a bully, having bullied and abused her brother for years, as well as anyone younger and smaller than her. She tends to get rather fixated on a particular annoyance, and stops at nothing until she's taken care of it. She has a taste for revenge, and can't stand being gotten the better of. She often considers herself better than everyone else, and won't hesitate to mentally and verbally muse on her own strength, power and intelligence. She enjoys stirring up trouble and making others miserable. I'd really like to say she has at least a few redeeming qualities, but she honestly doesn't. She's been nursing a grudge and feelings of abandonment and rejection since she was very young, and at this point it's festered to the point where that's pretty much all there is. Sexual orientation: Myre has shown no real sexual interest in anyone in canon. But Shamans tend to have no particular sexual preference, mating with whoever catches them during their ceremonies, so I'll put her as bisexual. But seeing as how there aren't any other dragons running around, I don't think it's much of an issue! Reputation: It depends on who you ask! To her few friends, she's considered a wonderful leader and a strong, firm, decisive leader. To most everyone else she's seen as anything from a minor annoyance to a real danger. She's not particularly well liked, even by her own family, and even those who call her 'friend' only due so in hopes she'll protect them or somehow make their lives easier. | |||||||||
