I never realized how big a deal being able to shift is around here. I never want to get stuck in one shape for a whole day again. I think I scraped off some skin trying to fit through those stupid two-legger hallways. When I've fed myself, I'm going to work on some of those damn things. I shouldn't have to shift just to leave my cave anyway.

But for now, I'm going to go hunt properly.

Cold meat is disgusting.

Ugh, I want to hibernate! Why does it get so blinding cold here? I swear it's too cold to even waste energy shifting. Besides, two-legger bodies aren't built to handle low temperatures. But my cave's so boring. Maybe I'll just spend the next few months as an ice cat...

I can't stand being inside today. It's too nice out. I want to find a nice big flat rock and sun for a good few hours.

I almost feel like calling a storm and Thunder Dancing. It's too bad there aren't any other dragons here. There's no reflecting cavern to dive into to release the lightening. And no one to Thunder Dance with, either....

But it's summer and it's a Shaman's duty to Thunder Dance to bring prosperity and power to the Lair. And Niflheim might be full of humans and human-shaped people, but it's as close to a Lair as I have, and I am a Shaman....

I wonder if there are any crystal caverns around....
